NetBeans User Group in Munich - standing room only
Thanks to all of the attendees for making the NetBeans User Group munich kickoff meeting 2008 a great success. Well, what can go wrong with a speaker like Sun Java Champion and NetBeans Dreamteam member Adam Bien? Adam gave an excellent talk on EJB 3, Fluent Interfaces, Glassfish v2 - and lightweight Java EE 5 … and NetBeans 6 and he really managed to cover all of these topics in great detail. Thanks, Adam for this excellent talk with lots of code samples and the lively discussion. More than 50 people from all over germany joined us for the meeting. Thanks to Sun and Sigs Datacom we had free copies of JavaSpektrum with Adam Biens new article on Services and Objects using Java EE 5/6 and T-shirts as giveaways.

JUGM meetings will be held bimonthly in 2008 with the next talk on “SQE - a Software Quality Environment for NetBeans” by Sven Reimers in march. Join us for the meetings, the toughest questions will be rewarded with a cool NetBeans T-shirt :).

I enjoyed it really. It was fun -> great community. Thank you very much for the organization -> it is much easier to speak thank organize such an event
